    Description

    UP FOR SALE IS A VINTAGE HAND FORGED BLACKSMITH MADE SQUARE EYE HATCHET. THIS HATCHET IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE HOLE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN MADE  DURING THE ORIGINAL MAKING OF THE HATCHET BY THE BLACKSMITH. IT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN MADE FOR A SPECIAL PURPOSE, THE HEAD MEASURES 4 5/8" LONG WITH A 3" BIT. THE WOODEN HANDLE IS SOLID & MEASURES 14 1/2" LONG. THIS HATCHET WEIGHS 2 1/4 LBS..THERE ARE NO CRACKS, BREAKS OR REPAIRS. PLEASE USE PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.  THANK YOU FOR LOOKING
