    Description

    My mother brought this back from Hawaii in the 1970's & never wore it. It has been in a jewelry safe for the past 40+ years & is in new condition. I could find no chips, cracks or missing seeds. The color on the Cowrie shells is as bright as it was when it was purchased & does not show the telltale signs of age. At first I thought the shells were loose but there are no holes drilled & the string seems to run through the opening of the shell.
